Here is an idea that could be used in an item obtainable from a special event.

Scroll of Luck:
For 10 minutes, you gain 5 points to your lucky title every time you get a PvE loot drop, 10 extra points if that drop is purple, and 40 extra points if that drop is gold.

I've been throwing around ideas for "Scrolls of Luck" that relate to critical hits or doing/taking damage, but most would be easy venues for afk farming. This is the best general idea I could come up with.

I like this idea, though I think it should be thought out a bit more, because white PvE loot is very common, so we'd have a lot of maxed lucky titles walking around without them having taken the time to do it in the way that others before them have done: games of chance.

I love this idea -- finally a way to gain on the luck title without having to grind it out and be insanely rich. (-:

make it gold and purple items only and i agree, here is what it should be

For 10 minutes, you gain 1 points to your lucky title every time you get a PvE Purple loot drop, 1 extra point if that drop is gold. 2 extra points if that drop is green. you get 1 unlucky title point for every 10 white drops.

then people who farmed lucky unlucky wont feel so screwed over by this
